So You Find it Hard to Keeping Track of Mixes on...
And me Too! At present, 8tracks.com only allows you to follow members and favor tracks in mixes, but how about mix itself?? It’s really stupid of me, but I just realize you can actually “bookmark” a mix by adding a certain track to your favorite, then you can go back to your favorite list and will see something like Maxwell’s Silver Hammer The Beatles Album: The Beatles...

First 8tracks, yeah!!!
So this is my very first playlist which I call “life is hard, really.” The service 8tracks offers makes more sense to me, I mean, you can Actually listen to the whole song without this nasty 30 seconds limitatio, at least when you’re listening to others’ playlist. And I also created a new avatar based on the default avatar of 8tracks. Too bad I’m not a blondie or...

some thoughts on blip.fm
I gave it a try, feeling intrigued, then bored, and then deleted my account right away. Honestly I just don’t see the point of having a page that shows a list of strangers who love the same song like you; well, it’s more like the whole service is only good for showing numerous avatars and identical texts over and over again and nothing is more dreadful than repetition… Looks...

WhatTheFont! « MyFonts →
“Submit an image to WhatTheFont to find the closest matches in our database.” Since I have decided to make a new business card design to promote my tumblr, my intuition told me that I should embed the logo of tumblr in the design as well. The font looks awfully familiar, so I did a bit of research and then found this rather cool site called WhatTheFont! The rule is rather simple:...

Wide Receivers The Atacama array, seen here in a rendering, will collect data from within the clouds of dust and gas that gave rise to stars, planets, and galaxies. “It will enable us finally to penetrate cold, dark regions of the universe,” says project scientist Richard Hills.

Book of the Day: George Eliot - Silas Marner
The story opens as Silas Marner, falsely accused of theft, loses everything, including his faith in God. Embittered and alienated from his fellow man, he moves to the village of Raveloe, where he becomes a weaver. Taking refuge in his work, Silas slowly begins to accumulate gold—his only joy in life—until one day that too is stolen from him. Then one dark evening, a beautiful, golden-haired child,...

The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear
I The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea In a beautiful pea green boat, They took some honey, and plenty of money, Wrapped up in a five pound note. The Owl looked up to the stars above, And sang to a small guitar, ‘O lovely Pussy! O Pussy my love, What a beautiful Pussy you are, You are, You are! What a beautiful Pussy you are!’ II Pussy said to the Owl,...

Recounts the adventures of a band of Jews—former Soviet soldiers and concentration camp survivors—who battle the retreating German army in the closing days of World War II. My rating: 5 stars.
